Wal-mart employee nice

Interestingly enough, I had a really great experience at Walmart at lunch today. Had to pick up a bunch of groceries for Max and I... the checkout gal was exceptional. Very nice and good at her job [quite rare indeed].

I even donated $1 to a Children's fund just because she asked.

I can't wait to see Tamara. She's been gone for 9 days with 9 more to go. She's been saying 'I love you' very convicingly even time we talk on the phone. Now only if she would put her wedding ring back on. . .

Rocktober 2004

Tam has been gone for 5 days now in Georgia for work. It's been me and Max all week and that has been nice. Mom has been here since yesterday and it's been great to visit with her.

Max has just not wanted to go to bed all week. He's whining like crazy when I try to leave his bedroom. Grandma has been able to then go in and lay down the law. It's hard for me to be real strict on Max at his age. But he is old enough to understand and he should be listening better.

Tam and I are doing better. She misses me and I can tell it's for real. We had some real stressful times the last few months. But we love each other and I know it will work out in the end. I love her. I can make her happy. I can drive her crazy.

Two 'crazy's in a few sentances... now make that Three... yikes.
